The Théâtre des Champs-Élysées is a landmark of Parisian Art Deco. Its decorative ceiling and historic details offer an extraordinary setting, but bringing them to life through contemporary light requires more than brighter equipment.

Projetscénie developed a lighting concept that responds to the audience’s changing viewpoint. From the stalls, the room’s graphic symmetry is emphasized; from the balconies, gilding and craftsmanship come forward. A carefully choreographed effect allows the ceiling to join the theatrical moment.

The intervention demonstrates how heritage lighting can be both conservation and creative interpretation. Modern control systems and repairable components support a renewed experience without asking the historic architecture to surrender its identity.
