FRAME — Traces of Human Time, by Korean photographer Seok Lee (LISEOK), won 1st Place in Night Photography at the 2026 International Photography Awards. It is part of an ongoing land-art photography series he has developed since 2018.

The work uses artificial light powered by self-generated solar energy, projected onto natural landscapes such as cliffs, forests, rocks and the ground. Rather than altering or occupying nature, the project accepts each landscape as it is: the form and scale of the light respond to distance, terrain, weather and ambient conditions.

Wind, fog, moving trees and darkness are not controlled but become part of the work. The light exists only temporarily, leaving a trace of human time before disappearing. The photographs become the only lasting record of an intervention designed to leave the land untouched.
