Sheetol Chawla is a fashion designer who studied at Auckland University of Technology.
Driven by a curiosity about Indian culture and its untold stories, she sees design as a harmony of silhouette, rhythm, movement, proportion and texture. Her collection Spiritual Shift, built on rhythmic, repetitive cording and layers that grow in scale, won Gold in Haute Couture and Emerging Fashion Designer of the Year at the 2022 International Design Awards. The collection seeks contentment and freedom of the soul away from a materialistic world.
