Siyu Ai is a multidisciplinary designer who earned an MFA in Industrial Design at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and who loves everything related to art and technology.
His project Elevate-X, an all-electric short-distance VTOL system that combines a drone structure with a passenger pod to ease traffic congestion by using three-dimensional airspace, earned him Emerging Product Designer of the Year at the 2020 International Design Awards, as well as Gold in Aircraft and Aerospace design. He sees criticism as an opportunity to grow.
