About the award
The DNA Paris Design Awards honor international architects and designers who improve daily life through practical, beautiful and innovative design. The program is organized by Farmani Group together with In Between, a Paris-based collective of thinkers and makers. It sits alongside the DNA Paris Summer Design Conference, a series of talks and events on where design is heading.
Professionals and students from anywhere in the world can enter recent work in five disciplines: Architecture, Interior, Landscape, Product and Graphic Design. Winners of the five main categories become DNA Designers of the Year and receive the DNA Paris trophy on stage in Paris. Students compete separately for the Emerging Designer of the Year titles. Subcategory winners become DNA Winners. Results are announced in early July, and the Awards Ceremony takes place in Paris in November.
How entries are judged
All entries are evaluated online by an international jury of architects, designers, editors and creatives. No physical samples are needed: the jury reviews the images, PDF documentation and links each entrant provides. Student entries are judged against other student entries. The evaluation criteria are regularly updated to reflect current standards in design.
