Alisa Sibgatova is a fashion designer whose work brings hand-woven textiles into sharply structured tailoring.
Her collection Witch Craft — New Classics, built on an unusual hand-woven material produced only in Russian factories and on natural fibres such as wool and silk, was named Fashion Design of the Year at the 2016 International Design Awards. Its structured jackets, vests and dresses invite the wearer to be theatrical and to play with her wardrobe.
