Chingyu Lei is a product designer and ArtCenter College of Design graduate who calls himself a problem solver and enjoys every detail of the design process.
His Tesla Model D, a concept e-bike that asks what Tesla could offer the growing number of people commuting in cities, earned him Emerging Product Designer of the Year and Gold in Bicycles at the 2021 International Design Awards. It was the first award of his career. Lei finds it most satisfying to integrate technologies that create immersive, realistic experiences for the people who use them.
