Ivan Vecchia and Giorgio Mastropasqua are the Italian industrial designers behind fusodesign.
Their curiosity about everyday objects and Italy’s rich aesthetic tradition led them to design. Their AirOwater water dispenser was named Product Design of the Year at the 2023 International Design Awards. The appliance collects and purifies moisture from the air to provide clean drinking water, using a knurled front panel that increases the surface for condensation, and was designed to address water scarcity while reducing waste and cost.
