Richard Francis-Jones is the design director of fjmt, an Australian architecture studio dedicated to design excellence and the public domain, which treats every project as a public project and the community as its ultimate client.
His inspiration comes from the physical, landscape and social complexity of each site. fjmt’s Bunjil Place in Narre Warren, Victoria, which brings together a library, theatre, gallery, event spaces, a service centre and a public plaza for the City of Casey, was named Architectural Design of the Year at the 2017 International Design Awards.
