Xuan Quynh Dinh is an interior designer who studied at the University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh City.
Her project El tren en España, which renovates an old house in Ho Chi Minh City into a Spanish restaurant, won Emerging Interior Designer of the Year and Gold in Restaurant Design at the 2024 International Design Awards. Without ever having visited Spain, she immersed herself in research to bring Azulejos tiles, stylised symbols and Spain’s European-Muslim heritage to Vietnam. She works by her motto, “Always DARE and ASK”.
